We had two baby girls! Willow calved on Tuesday and Ulani on Wednesday. We've been feeling a bit short of milk as we just had to dry several cows off. We stop milking them about 60 days before they are due to calve again, so they can rest and regain any body fat they lost during their lactation. These two new moms will help our production issue. If you don't see your usual cream or butter this week, this is why. We should be back on track by next week.

We're experiencing a major jar shortage. PLEASE RETURN ALL OF YOUR EMPTIES EVERY WEEK! In the last week we've placed 126 new jars in circulation. That's about $170 spent on jars in one week!

We picked up round two of the baby chicks yesterday. They are so cute when they are still the size of an egg, yellow and fuzzy! We were able to get a chick starter feed ration with organic grains and no soy for this second group. Woo-hoo!

Have a great weekend!
